Troubleshooting

The pictures used in this section may not look exactly like your robotic cleaner but troubleshooting procedures should work with your cleaner!
11. Lock tabs do not lock properly:
  • When dirt and debris collect behind the locking tabs and the main body the bottom lid can come loose and drag on the bottom of the pool. This can cause the following problems:

    • Robot turns in one direction only
    • Dirt is left at the pool bottom
    • Robot is not cleaning all of the pool’s bottom
    • Robot does not climb the wall

  • Cleaning the lock tabs during your weekly cleaning routine can eliminate these problems

  • Shut Power supply off and remove Robotic Cleaner from the pool

  • Turn cleaner on its top carefully
(Put cardboard, towel or blanket under cleaner so not to scratch plastic surfaces)

  • Remove the bottom lid assembly
(This is the tray that holds the filter bag)

  • Carefully pry the tabs open away from the Robot’s body to inspect for dirt accumulated between lock tab and Robot’s body

  • With a high pressure water hose clean debris from behind locking tabs

  • Install bottom lid back into the cleaner

  • Push in the bottom cover until all the tabs are securing the bottom cover to the Robot’s body

  • If the problem still exist, fill out a Service Request Form or call 1-800-457-7642 for additional help
